Cforms plugin allows you to create forms for submission on wordpress blogs. There is a nice selection of CSS form user examples.

TDO Mini Forms allow unregistered readers submit posts into draft.

Changes made here on TDO mini forms to redirect to thank you page. Starts line 117 in tdomf-form-post.php. Also changed tdomf-widget-functions.php to change the “We don’t know you line”.

if(!isset($post_id) || get_post_status($post_id) != 'publish') {
// Go back to form with args
//
$redirect_url = get_permalink(12);
if($save_post_info) {
$args = $_POST;
} else {
$args = array();
$args['tdomf_no_form_'.$form_id] = true;
}
$args['tdomf_post_message_'.$form_id] = $message;
$_SESSION['tdomf_form_post_'.$form_id] = $args;
} else {
unset($_SESSION['tdomf_form_post_'.$form_id]);
$redirect_url = get_permalink(12);
}

  1. Thank you this is great.

  2. Thanks for the info. Hopefully I’ll be able to use it later. :)

  3. Hi,
    Can you publish a tutorial which will explain how to use TDO mini forms plugin to create a custom form and insert those values into the database.
    Presently there are no tutorials on the net giving information on how to use Tdo mini forms to create a custom data entry form to add the link to blogroll and then insert it into the database.
    Waiting for your reply.

    Thank You.

  4. Hi there nice post…

    That is exactly what I am looking for.

    Basically I want my users to send posts from the front page and NOT the admin page..

    TDO is working so far the only minus is the editor which is basic not allowing format and images (except with html tags). I found some plugin that works together to bring google maps integration…
    I would like a tutorial for the custom fields…do you know any?

    I ve just downloaded Cforms plugin but It is not clear to me how to post content through it and not use it only as contact form…

    Any help valuable!!

    Thank you

  5. Thanks
    This solved a big problem for me…
