Starchild, I do actually agree with some of what you say – but I suspect you are not a man as you would understand that some (most?) of us men feel horny all the time, regardless of how each individually views sex. From my own experience being horny is just part of a man’s makeup – it’s not determined by a lack of security or inadequacy. I agree that love and relationships are way more than just sex and controlling those urges is important, but the actual feeling horny has nothing to do with conscious or subconscious perception of sex – it’s biological.

I always feel turned on and if a nice lady thats nice to talk to talks to me then I feel more interested and less aroused,
wanting more of her and the sex will come natually after while if your married, or it wont bother you as much,

Basically what im saying is that the more horny the man, the more he is looking for validation of himself from external sources. If a man is secure within himself then he is more caring, more loving, doesnt seek approval or validation and so ‘SEX’ or ‘PROCREATING’ becomes Love-making where he is able to control and direct his energies accordingly through respect.

I believe men are so horny because sex is their idea of Love and security, and if they are ‘not getting any’ somehow they feel they are inadequate in some way. We may have primitive urges to procreate as a race, but we never stop to think why that person is arousing us, what is it that turns us on, why do we get turned on in the first place etc. Of course we are all looking for the strongest candidate to carry on our so called genes, but i believe it is more than that and more deeply subconscious.

If our main aim in life is to evolve in understand and consciousness in order to increase our survival, then we are climbing the ladder of life of self understanding, since all our physical needs are provided. i dont believe that DNA just mutates on its own, i believe our own conscious understanding and awareness of ourselves, wires our brains to create our perception of the world and how we view things, as we view ourselves. I believe DNA replicates to fit these new beliefs of our idea of Love. Initially the urge to procreate prevails but with greater understanding this urge is used with purpose and intention and becomes more selective. And so men go from being mega horny all the time as a measure of their worth, to valuing what they have to give and becoming more selective and nurturing to the maintainance of procreating, or making Love where 2 energies fuse to make 1, in order to make a better version of consciousness. Therefore the man learns to control his energy, becoming less horny. I believe overly horny men have not learnt to control these processes to reach a higher understanding and so get easily excited, aroused as a need for their perception of Love of thier own self image.

Well, with our mass media society these days we forget that we are just advanced mamals. Our most natural urge is to procreate with an attractive female, so to carry on the survival of the fittest (literally!)

It’s not a mans fault that when he sees a ounce of lady flesh he gets all fired up!
